“Before hiring Gavin as my coach, I was doing Crossfit for a year. During that year I was following Gavin Adin on Instagram, and I’d occasionally go through his profile and watch his training. I wasn't a big believer in lifting heavy because, at the time, all I could think about was that just one mistake could leave you seriously injured. After a year I became even more fond of Gavin's training, and once I found out he’d been coaching athletes for a few years, I messaged him about my situation. He was super easy to talk to, and was extremely comforting towards and understanding of any accommodations that needed to be made. I decided to hire him as my coach, and never looked back! The first two months were brutal because, well, when you think you know it all, you quickly find out you don’t haha. Gavin took me back to the basics of proper lifting. Never knew why there was so much technique when it came to heavy lifting, but as my numbers grew I began to understand why we had to go back to the basics. Gavin will be my coach for the long run, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. For a solid year I weighed 155lbs. After the first 2 months of training with Gavin, I weighed 167lbs. Today I weigh 175lbs and I feel so good putting on all this muscle!! Gavin is by far one of the best coaches I came across and has really put all his time and effort into giving me the tools for success.
